Jazz lives in Rochester, New York. It is the home of the Rochester International Jazz Festival, the Eastman School of Music and numerous talented jazz artists. The editor of the blog Jazz@Rochester, Gregory Bell, is not the jazz police, preaching what is and isn’t “jazz” or ruminating on whether the alternative take of a particular session is better than the one that ended up on the CD. He likes good music, played by talented musicians. There are a lot of them in Rochester.
